Raksha Bandhan is a festival celebrating the bond of affection between brothers and sisters. A Rakhi or Raksha is a sacred thread which on the day of Raksha Bandhan, sisters tie around the wrist of their brother.   By accepting a Rakhi from his sister a brother gladly takes on the responsibility of protecting her from any harm. 

Pat-Utsav (Seventh anniversary of our pranprathishtha)

Saturday 23^rd August will mark seven years since the pranprathishtha of our temple. To celebrate such an auspicious day there will be a grand and glorious Havan (Yagna) and Bhandara.

The annual celebration of Shree Krishna Bhagwan’s birth will take place on Sunday 24^th August 2008.  The evenings programme will begin at 7.00pm and include bhajans, satsang and kirtan.
