Raksha Bandhan is a festival celebrating the bond of affection between brothers and sisters. A Rakhi or Raksha is a sacred thread which on the day of Raksha Bandhan, sisters tie around the wrist of their brother.   By accepting a Rakhi from his sister a brother gladly takes on the responsibility of protecting her from any harm. 


 

Pat-Utsav (Seventh anniversary of our pranprathishtha)

 

Saturday 23rd August will mark seven years since the pranprathishtha of our temple. To celebrate such an auspicious day there will be a grand and glorious Havan (Yagna) and Bhandara.

The annual celebration of Shree Krishna Bhagwan’s birth will take place on Sunday 24th August 2008.  The evenings programme will begin at 7.00pm and include bhajans, satsang and kirtan.
